Andriese pitched 5.1 innings against Kansas City on Tuesday, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
He's been an unexpectedly valuable fantasy asset early on thanks to that 3.12 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 40.1 innings, but Andriese puts way too many men on base to keep living such a charmed life. If he doesn't cut down on the number of walks and hits he allows, strand-rate regression will hit him hard. Andriese is a usable starter in a lot of fantasy formats, but he's the kind of guy you can cut as soon as the wind changes direction.
