Andriese (groin) is expected to be placed on the 10-day disabled list, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Andriese exited Tuesday's start in the second inning with a mild groin strain and it appears he'll be sidelined for the long-term as he recovers. It's a tough loss for the Rays considering the right-hander's 3.45 ERA and 54:21 K:BB, but they have two off days within the next ten days, so a replacement starter may not be necessary. Don't expect Andriese to miss more than one or two starts, though Austin Pruitt is projected to be recalled for bullpen depth during his absence.
