The 26-year-old right-hander was optioned to Triple-A Durham back on Mar. 30 after a solid exhibition showing, but could find himself back with the big league club for the opener of a three-game series versus the White Sox. Erasmo Ramirez, slated for fifth starter duty in 2016, is also under consideration for the opportunity. Andriese tallied a 3-5 record and 4.11 ERA over eight starts in his rookie campaign last season.
