Andriese (5-2) allowed five runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five batters through five innings during Sunday's loss to the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
This was Andriese's first start since June 10, as he missed a significant chunk of the season due to a hip injury. The 28-year-old righty obviously wasn't sharp Sunday, but he still boasts a respectable 3.78 ERA, WHIP and 7.8 K/9 for the campaign, so there's value in most settings -- especially in favorable matchups. Andriese lines up to face the Red Sox at Fenway Park in his next start.
