Andrew Miller requested $2.15 million and was offered $1.55 million from the Red Sox when arbitration figures were exchanged on Friday. The tall hard-throwing southpaw who had once looked like a tremendous bust has found a home in the Red Sox bullpen the past two seasons. He will take home a modest raise over the $1.475 million that he earned during the 2013 season.
