Andrew McCutchen went 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in Thursday's win over the Braves. McCutchen doubled in a run in the fifth before taking George Sherrill deep with a two-run shot in the ninth to provide the Pirates with a couple insurance runs. The talented young outfielder came into he game hitting just .156/.309/.222 in 12 second-half games, so this was a welcome performance.
