Andrew Heaney was tagged for five runs over just 3 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Cardinals on Saturday. Heaney gave up five hits in the fourth inning (including back-to-back home runs to Allen Craig and Jhonny Peralta) before being pulled. He walked three and struck out just one batter. The rookie southpaw now owns a 6.53 ERA through four starts in the majors and has allowed at least four runs in each of his last three outings. The home run ball has really hurt him, as he has served up five longballs in just 20 2/3 innings of work. He still has a ton of promise, but those in mixed leagues should consider leaving him inactive until he begins to show improvement.
