Andrew Heaney fell to 0-3, allowing four runs over six innings in Sunday's loss to the Athletics. Heaney was mostly strong, blanking the A's over the first five innings. But the A's mounted a two-out rally in the sixth, singling three times in a row to drive in one run before Nate Freiman gave his club the lead with a three-run home run. Overall, Heaney allowed eight hits, walked none, and struck out four. The rookie lefty will carry a 5.29 ERA, a 1.12 WHIP, and a 12/3 K/BB ratio into his next start on the road against the Cardinals.
