Andrew Brown has been placed on the 7-day disabled list with Triple-A Las Vegas. Brown suffered an oblique injury Sunday and is out indefinitely. He was considered among the candidates to replace the struggling Ike Davis, but Brown is now looking at missing extended time. Mets GM Sandy Alderson insists that demoting Davis is "not imminent."
