Andrew Bailey (biceps) was deemed out for Saturday's game after originally believed to be available. Bailey has now missed five straight games with biceps soreness. It was originally thought he would be available for the game, but his pregame throwing program "did not go well," according to Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald. The Red Sox obviously think he's close so it's not likely he will require a trip to the DL, but it's worth monitoring his progress to see if he suffers any more setbacks in the next few days.
