Andres Torres (calf) took batting practice Monday, but mainly tracked pitches. Mets GM Sandy Alderson said over the weekend that it's "touch and go" whether Torres will avoid the disabled list to begin the season. Torres, for his part, said he felt good Monday. "There wasn't any tightness," he said.
