Andrelton Simmons went 2-for-4 with a double in a losing effort against the Tigers on Friday. Simmons also struck out once in the game, one of 17 strikeouts recorded by Tigers' starter Anibal Sanchez. After a very slow start to the season offensively, Simmons now has multi-hit games in three of his last four starts. He's still hitting a disappointing .225 on the season, but has all the talent in the world and is certainly trending in the right direction.
