Anderson, who left Tuesday's start due to back spasms, is likely bound for the 15-day DL, Nick Groke of the Denver Post reports. "[Anderson's] not real good," manager Walt Weiss said. "His back locked up and he doesn't look too good right now." Anderson was shutting out the Cubs for the first three frames of the outing before his back acted up following his first pitch of the fourth inning. Setbacks such as this are all too familiar for Anderson, who has repeatedly seen his promising career interrupted by untimely injuries. The loss of Anderson is especially troublesome for the Rockies, since the lefty had probably been the best starter in their beleaguered rotation over his last four turns, allowing only three runs over 23.1 cumulative innings. With Anderson out of commission until further notice, his replacement in Tuesday's outing, Franklin Morales, will likely step back into a starting role.
