Anderson went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 13-7 loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Rick Renteria continues to move Anderson up and down the batting order but the shortstop's been very comfortable in the seven-hole. In nine games as the seventh-place hitter, Anderson is 16-for-35 (.457, 1.358 OPS) with four homers and seven RBI. He's enjoyed a good month of May, bouncing back from and awful April when he primarily hit leadoff or second. We'd like to see Renteria let Anderson build momentum down the order and not try to force him into being something he's not yet ready to be.
