Anderson threw seven strong innings, allowing one earned run on three hits and striking out five, but didn't factor in the decision as the D-Backs bullpen imploded in a 7-1 loss to the Rangers. Each of Anderson's three starts have gotten better with this one making his best of the season. His 3.00 ERA and 1.11 WHIP are supported by good peripheral stats and he has at least five strike outs in each of his three starts as he looks to become a solid mid-rotation option for the Diamondbacks.
