Anderson made a quality start at Miami on Thursday, allowing three runs and nine hits in six innings. He struck out five and walked two. Anderson was in line for the win, but Arizona's bullpen gave up a run in the bottom of the eighth inning. He has been impressive as of late, reeling off six straight quality starts, with a 2.19 ERA during that span (37 innings). His next start will be against the Nationals on the road. Keep in mind, however, that his workload will probably be monitored down the stretch, as he's already hit a career high in innings pitched, and he also battled an elbow injury in 2013.
