Anderson left Tuesday's start with an apparent back injury, the Denver Post's Nick Groke reports. He had allowed just one hit through three innings before leaving after throwing one strike to Arismendy Alcantara to start the fourth inning. He had been fantastic over his last three starts, giving up just three runs over 20.1 innings, while striking out 18. However, Anderson is as injury-prone as they come, so this should not come as a surprise. Consider him day-to-day until we get official confirmation on Anderson's diagnosis, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him get shut down, given his track record of missing significant time due to injuries.
