Anderson lasted just two innings Tuesday, getting tagged for six runs -- all of them earned -- on six hits in a loss to the Nationals. He also walked three and stuck out two. "Chasing" Anderson is exactly what the Nats did in this one, knocking him around for five hits in the second inning to force his early exit. Anderson is now 7-5 on the season with a 3.71 ERA and 1.37 WHIP through 16 starts (87.1 innings) and will look for his second win in his last seven starts when he next faces the Padres on Sunday.
