EDGE Analysis
So much for the extra rest (eight days), as the Dodgers torched the 28-year-old for a second straight time. Although Tuesday wasn't as bad as the first, it still wasn't pleasant. Anderson failed to record a strikeout for the first time in his MLB career while giving up four-plus runs for the seventh time this season. The right-hander's ERA has been on the rise for nearly a month and it ballooned to 5.45 after this latest performance. Anderson will look to rebound and finish the first half on a high note Sunday against the Cardinals.
