Anderson (2-1) allowed six runs on seven hits (three home runs) while walking three and striking out two over four innings in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Believe it or not, it was only Anderson's second loss since July 25 last season. The long ball was his undoing in this one, as he allowed one to Ben Zobrist and two to superstar Kris Bryant. Before Sunday's outing, Anderson had only given up two home runs on the season, and one of them came way back on April 6. The 29-year-old will head into his next start with a 41:19 K:BB and 7.6 K/9 in 48.2 innings over nine starts.
