After giving up 11 runs on 20 hits in 8.2 innings over his last two starts, Anderson settled down with a strong effort to close out the year, as he allowed just two hits over seven scoreless innings of work before losing it a bit in the eighth. Despite generally being his typical rather hittable self all year long -- he gave up 194 base knocks this season -- Anderson set new career bests in starts (31) and innings (180.1) in his first healthy campaign since his rookie season of 2009.
