An MRI taken Monday on the right knee of Brewers shortstop Alex Gonzalez revealed a torn ACL. Gonzalez suffered the injury Saturday while sliding into second base. He will undergo a week of treatment before considering surgery. It's quite possible that the veteran shortstop will miss the rest of the 2012 season. Left only with Cesar Izturis to fill in, Brewers management may seek an early trade.
