An MRI on Mark Teixeira's right wrist showed only inflammation. Teixeira has been given a cortisone shot and will be re-evaluated in a few days. It's possible he'll still require a stint on the disabled list, but, at least for now, this certainly qualifies as good news. Teixeira had to exit Saturday's game after aggravating his wrist ailment.
