An MRI of Matt Capps' right shoulder has confirmed only inflammation, but he is not close to resuming throwing. It was reported Sunday that he would resume throwing Wednesday if the MRI showed no structural damage, but evidently that won't happen. Obviously Capps' timetable is up in the air, and he doesn't appear likely to make much of an impact over the rest of the season.
