Alonso will receive a second MRI on his strained right forearm Wednesday, MLB.com's Corey Brock reports. "It's not looking good in the short term," manager Bud Black stated. Alonso's injury appears to have more of an effect on his tendon/muscle than the bone, so the team will conduct a second set of tests. No timetable will be proposed until the results come back, but fantasy owners may want to begin considering a backup plan, as his current status doesn't seem promising.
