Alonso (shoulder) may rejoin the Padres for Monday's game against the Mets, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Alonso spent the weekend rehabbing with Triple-A El Paso, and Padres manager Bud Black didn't rule out the possibility of the first baseman returning to the big-league club Monday. Alonso was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI through the first five innings of Sunday's rehab game.
