Alonso (knee) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, John Hickey of the East Bay Times reports.

Alonso was removed from Wednesday's game with knee soreness and was held out from the team's following three games. Sunday's absence will be his fourth straight, though it's possible that he's healthy enough to play but is sitting out due to the fact that the left-handed Eduardo Rodriguez is on the mound for the Red Sox. Ryon Healy will draw the start at first base Sunday.
