EDGE Analysis
A bout of lower-back tightness forced Alonso from Tuesday's game and will keep him on the bench Wednesday, affording Brett Wallace a start at first base. The extent of the issue is uncertain, but Wednesday's matchup again lefty Cole Hamels likely made it an easy decision to rest Alonso.
