Alfredo Simon will open the 2014 season as the Reds' fifth starter. Simon posted an outstanding 2.87 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in 87 2/3 innings last season out of the Reds' bullpen. He hasn't started a game since 2011, so it's hard to recommend adding him outside of NL-only fantasy leagues.
