Alfredo Simon will likely be placed on the restricted list when he leaves the team Sunday to attend a hearing in the Dominican Republic regarding his manslaughter case. Simon is still scheduled to start Saturday against the Indians. He could be back as soon as Tuesday, but the Orioles could call somebody up from the minors to take his place on the active roster.
