Alfredo Simon will have to leave the Orioles on July 17 for a July 18 hearing in the Dominican Republic regarding his manslaughter case. The O's are hoping he'll be back by July 19, but it's no guarantee. Simon is also a candidate to make a start over the weekend, possibly on Saturday or Sunday. That means Chris Jakubauskas will probably be booted from the rotation.
