Alfredo Simon is expected to rejoin the Orioles on Tuesday. Simon, who is currently on the restricted list, attended a hearing Monday in the Dominican Republic regarding his manslaughter case. He is already on the way back to the United States and a source tells Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun that it's "highly unlikely" he will have to go back before the end of the season. He has yet to be formally charged or cleared in the shooting death of Michel Esteban Castillo.
