Alfredo Simon (groin) is scheduled to throw a couple innings Wednesday against the Blue Jays. Simon has been sidelined since March 18 with a strained groin. But he threw a bullpen session Sunday without experiencing any lingering discomfort and should be back up to speed by the start of the regular season.
