Alfredo Simon allowed three runs on six hits in eight innings on Friday, taking a no-decision in Baltimore's 4-3, 11-inning loss to the Tigers. Tonight was just the second time in 18 career starts that Simon was able to complete eight innings of work. Now the owner of a 4.85 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 81/37 K/BB ratio through 111 1/3 innings, Simon should get the Red Sox at home in Baltimore's season finale on Wednesday.
