Alfredo Aceves imploded in another late-game situation, allowing two runs on three hits in just 2/3 of an inning to take a loss against the Orioles on Saturday.

Aceves entered to start the 12th inning of a 6-6 game, and proceeded to allow a leadoff double to Adam Jones. After inducing a fly out, Jim Thome smacked an RBI double to plate the go-ahead run, then he came around to score on an RBI single from Endy Chavez. Aceves has been hideous in recent weeks, posting a 9.35 ERA in his last 11 outings.
