Alex Presley (thumb) was held out of the Pirates' lineup Sunday for a second straight game. The young Pittsburgh outfielder told reporters on Saturday that he was "not able to handle the bat" without feeling pain. Presley has been diagnosed with a bruised thumb and is still considered to be day-to-day.
