Alex Presley singled off reliever Kevin Siegrist's glove in the bottom of the 11th to give the Pirates a 2-1 win over the Cardinals in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader. The ball deflected off Siegrist's glove past the shortstop, who was going to cover second on the play, allowing Russell Martin to come around from second and score the winning run. Presley went 2-for-5 today and is 3-for-9 since being recalled Monday. He might have some NL-only value unless the Pirates pick up an outfielder or a first baseman before Wednesday's deadline.
