Minnesota Twins outfielder/first baseman Alex Kirilloff (wrist) was able to take batting practice Monday and is slated to begin a rehab assignment with the Triple-A St. Paul Saints sometime this week. Kirilloff received a cortisone shot a little over a week ago for his sprained wrist- and has gradually increased his activity, progressing from dry swings to batting practice.
