Alex Gonzalez is out of Atlanta's lineup tonight and could sit again Saturday, manager Fredi Gonzalez said. Now that the Braves have a quality backup in Jack Wilson, it's no problem sitting Gonzalez, who has been one of the game's worst hitters the last three months. He's batting .193/.226/.285 in 274 at-bats since June 16. He's also tied for second in the NL having grounded into 19 double plays.
