Alex Gonzalez is expected to miss a couple days with a strained right calf. Gonzalez initially tweaked the calf over the weekend, but aggravated the injury running the bases Tuesday. "We don't think it's major," said Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez. "But it's one of those calf injuries that can become major." As of now, the veteran shortstop hopes to return to the lineup on Friday or Saturday against the Nationals.
