Alex Colome was suspended 50 games after testing positive for Boldenone, a performance-enhacing drug. Colome debuted at the major league level in 2013 and posted a promising 2.25 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 16 innings. Now the 25-year-old right-hander has to sit out the first two months of the 2014 campaign. He was ranked a Top 100 prospect by Baseball America in 2010.
