Alex Avila left Sunday's game after being inadvertently elbowed by Prince Fielder while the two were chasing a pop-up. Prince's elbow appeared to catch the cheek of Avila, who immediately dropped to the ground. He'll surely be checked for a concussion. Gerald Laird took Avila's spot behind the plate.
