The 26-year-old did his damage out of the bottom of the order, tallying his second multi-hit game of the month, with the first one also having been a three-hit effort back on June 10. Ahmed is still struggling at the plate overall but is picking it up a bit this month, now slashing .261/.271/.413 over 46 at-bats. His homer also represented the first time he'd gone deep since way back on April 13.
