Ahmed went 2-for-4 with a walk, RBI and run hitting leadoff Wednesday in a win over Texas. Ahmed continues to collect hits, including 10 in his last 27 at-bats (.370) and has raised his season line to a respectable .249/.314/.365. Coming into the year, it looked like he could be a source of steals if he was able to get on base, but he just 4-for-9 in stolen base attempts. While his six home runs are a nice surprise, an improvement in his success on the base paths would be welcome in the second half.
