This is the fourth straight game Ahmed has gone without a hit, lowering his batting line to .122/.217/.122 on the season. While he has had some bad luck (he has a .185 BABIP on the season), his 30% strike out rate makes it pretty clear that he is over matched at the plate. Look for Ahmed to get a day off to clear his head if he doesn't get a couple of hits to drop soon.
