After entering a tie game against the Mariners, Huston Street gave up his seventh homer of the year to Jason Bay on Wednesday. Street was in line for the loss after giving up the run in the top of the ninth, but the Padres bailed him out and went on to win in 10. Street has allowed just 17 hits in 20 1/3 innings, but 40 percent of them have been homers. He's still 11-for-12 in save chances, so the Padres have no reason to remove him from the closer's role.
