Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria (hamstring) and outfielder Kevin Kiermaier (thumb) both had encouraging practices Saturday in their respective drills. Kiermaier was throwing to the bases to test his thumb while Hechavarria tested out his hamstring in fielding grounders. Both look to head out to rehab assignments next week and return in late June.
