Anderson was added to the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers after previously being listed on the bench.
EDGE Analysis
The White Sox looked like they were sticking to their previously discussed plan of starting Anderson every other game in order to ease him back into action after he returned from a hamstring strain Tuesday. However, per James Fegan of The Athletic, manager Tony La Russa said the shortstop is now feeling well enough to play back-to-back days. It's still seems more than likely that Anderson will be given regular days off during the final two weeks of the season to ensure that he's fully healthy for the postseason.
