The Astros activated Garcia from their taxi squad Tuesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

His big-league slash line of .151/.216/.208 this season doesn't exactly demand a call-up, but the COVID-19 injured list placements of Zack Greinke and Taylor Jones opened a couple 26-man spots on the eve of roster expansions.
