Funkhouser will be a part of the Tigers' 60-man player pool this season.
EDGE Analysis
Funkhouser was optioned to Triple-A Toledo in March but will now provide depth on an expanded MLB roster. The 26-year-old made 18 starts at Triple-A last year and could be a rotation option if a need arises at any point this season for Detroit.
